Charge overnight. Your battery fills up automatically when electricity is cheapest, on a time-of-use tariff's off-peak rate.
Discharge at peak. Instead of drawing expensive daytime electricity from the grid, your home runs on stored battery power.
EquiVolt+ manages it. Our subscription service handles the charge and discharge cycles and looks after the battery's long-term health, so there's nothing for you worry about day-to-day.

Note: EquiVolt+ is an optional service. You own the hardware from day one and can choose to self-manage the system if you prefer.

"This was something I had been thinking about for some time given I'm now on my third EV and just retired, so I was pleased to see this company had the same idea! I was lucky enough to get on the pilot scheme even though I have a 3-phase supply, but Tom thought it would work given I have one heavily loaded phase (new kitchen). I have to say the guys were excellent from start to finish, they even put up with my (probably excessive) questions about their system! As an example of the "above and beyond" after setting an installation date, on them receiving my battery and testing it themselves, they found a fault. Rather than delay installation, the installed the battery from their own house, then swapped it over a short time later when the replacement arrive - beat that for customer service! Their control software seems excellent, and they were happy to go through the information they gather and use and like my EV it is "over the air" updates. "Equivolt has provided us with a fantastic product for a very reasonable price and with a level of customer service which is unprecedented in my 70 years. We are not a typical Equivolt customer but they were happy to tailor what they do to blend with our existing set up of solar, EV and heat pump. They have provided us with a 15KwH Fogstar battery, compatible with our inverter, which will keep us off peak all year round. We generate around 4.5MWh from solar but have a shortfall in winter, late autumn and early spring so we will now be charging our new battery overnight on our EV tariff during these periods. Even without solar, charging overnight on a cheaper tariff all year round and then running your house from the battery makes so much sense. If you're on an EV tariff it makes total sense. Providing domestic battery storage together with an operating system and excellent customer support is what Equivolt do and I can't recommend them highly enough.
